The band page is very different.

However, some hide code does work on both, it depends on the strategy used.

I have a few different strategies I have used on the band page.

The first one may be best if you do NOT plan to display any of the default page content, but only custom content:

The next one is a complete div overlay strategy. The hide technique used, is designed to make it easy to bring back, and display, various elements from the default page (such as the music player and shows).

i dont no if band myspace profiles are different to edit for then normal ones, but this works for normal myspace profiles
