My internet disconnects randomly every time i open a large page, particularly a myspace band page.?

I run a windows xp with a bigpond internet connection. the modem is a siemens speedstream.

nearly everytime i open a myspace band page it loads a bit, (some of the pictures load) but then it disconnects before the songs and some other things load.

This also happens on some of my friends myspace pages and im not to sure but i think it has happened on some random pages aswell.

when his happens a speach bubble comes up from the notification area saying

LOCAL AREA CONNECTION in bold and underneath says a network cable is unplugged.

When this happens i look at my modem and it has reset itself.

This happens very often and is extremely annoying.

Does anybody have any ideas on how to stop this?

Check for spywares on your computer...maybe you got one! Some of them behave in the way you described, disconnecting or redirecting the connection.

There are many free anti-spyware on the net you can download.
